Chuanglv Transportation adds another overseas benchmark! The 10 meter dual arm solar street light project has officially landed in the rural road renovation project of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. With its dual light source intelligent energy-saving design, it has become a model of low-energy lighting in the local area.
The 10 meter dual arm solar street light customized for Thailand this time is equipped with 60W LED light sources on the left and right lamp heads, matched with 200W monocrystalline silicon solar panels and 250Ah lithium iron phosphate batteries. In response to the constantly changing nighttime pedestrian flow on rural roads in Thailand, the streetlights are equipped with an intelligent energy-saving mode: dual head full power lighting (total power 120W) is turned on from 7pm to 11pm, and automatically switches to single head low-power operation (60W) after 11pm, achieving 12 hours of lighting per day while reducing energy consumption by 30% compared to the constant power scheme.
On the data level, the annual electricity consumption of a single traditional city street lamp is about 438 kWh (120W × 12h × 365 days ÷ 1000), while this solar street lamp has zero annual electricity consumption per lamp. Calculated at a commercial electricity price of 1.2 yuan/kWh in Thailand, the annual electricity cost of a single lamp is 525.6 yuan, and the 80 street lamps invested in the project have an annual electricity cost savings of over 42000 yuan. In terms of environmental benefits, a single street lamp can reduce carbon emissions by about 436 kilograms per year, and 80 lamps can reduce a total of 34.88 tons of carbon emissions per year, helping Thailand achieve its carbon neutrality goal. At present, during the continuous rainy and cloudy days in Thailand's rainy season, the endurance of street lamps has reached 8 days, fully adapting to local climate conditions.
